Bunkbeds!This custom bunkbed was built right into the wall to save space, yet it's strong enough and large enough to hold a full-sized man. The almost-full-sized young man who sleeps on the top bunk frequently skips the stairs and climbs up over the guard rails. Good thing those are strong too!
With a trundle bed that glides out on sturdy, little wheels for sleep-overs, and pulls up with smooth springs for storage underneath, it's super efficient. Under the stairs, these boys have assorted sized cubbies for their toys and books, and (not shown here) matching mini-shelves on the wall next to the upper and lower beds for the tchotchkes they don't want to share ;) |

The bookshelves were an exact fit to maximize a small space in a corner between an office and a bais medrash at Yeshivas Bais Yisroel.
